You join Altrum by invitation, never by signing up on your own. Once you have an account, sign in with your email and password, or with Google.

Accept an invitation

An owner or admin invites you by email. For a new organization, Altrum invites the first owner.
1

Open the link

In the email You are invited to join your organization on Altrum, choose Accept the invitation. The page shows the organization, your role and your email address.
2

Create your account

Enter your name and a password, then choose Create account. Or choose Continue with Google with the Google account for the invited address.
You land on Home. An invitation works once, for 7 days. If yours has expired, ask the person who invited you to resend it.

Open app.altrum.ai, enter your email and password, and choose Sign in, or choose Continue with Google. Google works only for an address that already has an Altrum account, or that you are accepting an invitation for. After 5 failed attempts for one email within 15 minutes, Altrum makes you wait before it accepts another.

Set or reset your password

A password has 12 to 128 characters. There is no separate screen to change it: to change a password you know, or replace one you forgot, use the reset link.
1

Ask for a link

On the sign in page, choose Forgot your password?, enter your email and choose Send reset link. The page says the same thing whether or not the address has an account, so nobody can use it to find out who has one.
2

Set a new password

Open the link in the email Set or reset your Altrum password. It works once, for one hour. Enter a new password and choose Set password.
Setting a new password signs you out everywhere else.

How long you stay signed in

You stay signed in until you choose Sign out in the account menu, until you have been idle for 8 hours, or for 7 days at most, whichever comes first. You are also signed out when an owner or admin disables or removes you. Altrum does not offer two-factor sign in of its own. If your organization signs in with Google, Google’s own two-step verification applies.
