# Account and organization

> Change your own details, theme and email settings, and see or edit your organization's profile.

Your account and your organization's profile both open from the account menu: your initials, at the top right of every page.

## Your account

Choose **Account** to change your first and last name, and optionally your department, job title and employee ID (up to 100 characters each). Choose **Save changes**.

Your email, role and organization are shown but cannot be changed here. To use another email address, ask an owner or admin to invite it as a new account. To change your role, ask an owner or admin.

From the same menu:

* **Email settings** picks which [alerts](/alerts.md) also reach you by email.
* **Theme** switches between **Light**, **Dark** and **System**, which follows your device.
* **Sign out** ends your session on this device.

## Your organization

Choose **Organization** to see what Altrum knows about your company. Owners and admins can edit:

* **Website**;
* **Size**: 1-50, 51-250, 251-1000, 1001-5000 or 5001+ people;
* **Countries served**: two-letter country codes, separated by commas;
* **Industries**: one or more from the list.

Everyone else sees the same profile, read only.

The name, plan, primary country and customer date are set by Altrum. Owners and admins also see the contract and when the plan ends: see [Plans and modules](/plans-and-modules.md).
